Cusack has two children on Bathurst Island and wishes to have the others educated. Wilson also wishes to have his children educated in the Catholic Faith. I have discussed the position with Fr Tierney and he stated that Bathurst Island would be the most ideal situation. I think the fathers would agree and contribute to their maintenance. The men are employed as stockmen, receiving 2/10/0 per week and maintenance of their families. Cusack has a bank balance of almost 400 pounds, but Wilson spends his as it is received. Child endowment forms will be sent to Mr Braitling for execution, and will be picked up on my next visit.
