                        MUCKATY STATION


Owner and Manager    - Mr A Ulyatt
Area                 - 450 square miles
Grazing Licence      - Nos 972, 904, 1052
Situation            - 390 miles north of Alice Springs, then
                       5 miles west of North-South Road to
                       homestead. Bounded on the north by Helen
                       Springs Station, east and south by Banka
                       Banka Station, west to Crown Land (desert).
Licence Aboriginals -  No 205, issued at Newcastle Waters Police Station
                       current to 30. 6.1951.
Inspection          -  16th, 17th and 18th July 1950

The above are employed occasionally, but receive
rations and tobacco all the time. Supported by the
Station, no maintenance is claimed.

Employees are all rationed by the Station, but only work
intermittently when there is mustering, branding, etc to
be done. Contract work is occasionally available, and one
boy, Wonga), earned 3/7/0 cutting posts at 6d each.
